Product Source, Manufacturer Affiliation, Warranty, and Software Notice
Products offered for sale by KR Automation, Inc. are industrial surplus assets acquired from plants and industrial facilities disposing of equipment or inventory as a result of facility closures, liquidations, equipment upgrades, decommissioning, or excess inventory. These products were not acquired by KR Automation directly from the original equipment manufacturer or through an authorized manufacturer distribution channel.
KR Automation is an independent reseller and is not an authorized distributor, dealer, reseller, service center, affiliate, agent, or representative of Rockwell Automation, Allen-Bradley, or any other original equipment manufacturer or brand identified on this website. No manufacturer has sponsored, endorsed, authorized, certified, or approved KR Automation or the products offered by KR Automation.
All manufacturer names, brand names, trademarks, logos, catalog numbers, model numbers, and other product identifiers appearing on this website remain the property of their respective owners. They are used solely to identify and accurately describe the products offered for sale and, where applicable, their intended compatibility. The appearance of a manufacturer’s name, trademark, packaging, label, or other identifying information does not indicate that KR Automation is affiliated with or authorized by that manufacturer.
Condition descriptions used by KR Automation—including “Unused Surplus,” “Surplus Sealed,” “Open Box,” “Pre-Owned,” “Tested,” and “Refurbished”—describe KR Automation’s assessment of the physical and functional condition of the particular product. These descriptions do not mean that the product is new through an authorized distribution channel, factory-new, manufacturer-certified, manufacturer-refurbished, or eligible for an original manufacturer’s warranty, technical support, product registration, recertification, software, firmware, updates, or other manufacturer-provided services.
Products may have older manufacturing dates, date codes, hardware revisions, firmware revisions, software revisions, or series designations than products currently offered by the manufacturer or its authorized distributors. Unless expressly stated in the individual product listing and supported by documentation, customers should not assume that any manufacturer warranty, technical support, product registration, factory certification, firmware entitlement, software license, recall-notification service, update service, or other manufacturer-provided benefit is available.
Any inspection, testing, repair, or refurbishment identified in a product listing is performed by KR Automation or an independent third party and not by the original manufacturer or a manufacturer-authorized service provider, unless the listing expressly states otherwise and KR Automation possesses supporting documentation. Any warranty expressly offered by KR Automation is provided solely by KR Automation, is separate from any manufacturer warranty, and does not create any affiliation with or obligation on the part of the original manufacturer.
Certain products, including products bearing the Allen-Bradley or Rockwell Automation names or marks, may contain embedded firmware or may require additional firmware, software, activation, configuration tools, or licenses for installation, configuration, maintenance, or operation. The sale of hardware by KR Automation does not include or convey any firmware or software license, download entitlement, activation, subscription, update right, technical-support right, or other intellectual-property right except to the extent such a right is expressly included in writing and is lawfully transferable.
KR Automation makes no representation or warranty concerning the presence, authenticity, version, revision, licensing status, security status, availability, suitability, or compatibility of any firmware or software. KR Automation does not provide, download, distribute, transfer, activate, install, modify, or update manufacturer firmware or software on behalf of customers. Customers are solely responsible for obtaining any required firmware, software, activation, updates, and licenses directly from lawful and authorized sources and for complying with all applicable license agreements, access restrictions, usage requirements, and intellectual-property rights.
Before purchasing, installing, or using a product, the customer is responsible for independently verifying the catalog number, model, series, revision, electrical ratings, configuration, compatibility, condition, lifecycle status, firmware and software requirements, suitability for the intended application, and compliance with applicable safety, electrical, cybersecurity, regulatory, and industry requirements. Installation, configuration, inspection, and use should be performed by appropriately qualified personnel.
Products should not be used in life-safety, safety-critical, hazardous-location, medical, nuclear, aviation, or other regulated applications unless the customer has independently determined that the product is suitable, properly configured, appropriately tested, and compliant with all requirements applicable to the intended use.
Nothing in this notice expands any warranty expressly provided by KR Automation or excludes any right or obligation that cannot lawfully be excluded.
